The echo chamber

I have been listening to the NPR’s On the Media for years now. Hosts Brooks Gladstone and Bob Garfield do a great job in producing a weekly analysis of the media. With a mix of fun and really good questions, they analyze the media landscape. One of the best pieces from the last months is a show about the echo chamber. The echo chamber is the world we surround ourselves with, it’s the nice place where everyone agrees with you and your norms and beliefs are not questioned. With more and more information on the web, you would say that the echo chamber is in danger, but the opposite is true. Take a few minutes and listen to it, it is great:
